Helen Bernard
Senior Associate of Investor Outreach
Helen is the Senior Associate for Investor Outreach at Civicap. Her primary role is to manage strategic communications between Civicap and its investors. With almost a decade of fundraising experience across nonprofit sectors, Helen excels in her broad knowledge of communication and her ability to build strong relationships with donors and investors that have a long-lasting impact.
Before joining Civicap, Helen led the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business Reunion Giving Program, where she managed a large annual fund and focused on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-capacity major gift donors across the country. Helen also has experience from her tenure at The Fay School, where she worked on revamping the school's annual gala, building a robust corporate sponsorship program, and launching the school's first-ever capital campaign.
Helen graduated with honors in Public Relations from Texas Tech University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She is currently earning a Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Arizona and plans to graduate in December of 2024.
